Driver Identification
How it Works
✓ The Driver-Identification Keypad operates alongside compatible tracking devices that support 1-Wire protocols. Before deployment, authorised driver PINs are configured within the tracking device.
When a driver enters their identification code, the tracking unit authenticates the driver and enables vehicle operation based on predefined rules. Once authenticated, the system records the driver ID, vehicle location, and relevant telemetry data. This information is transmitted over the GPRS network to the fleet management platform, where it becomes instantly available for monitoring and reporting.
